I haven’t heard of ECS before, who are they?
ECS was founded by two Emergency Medicine Doctors in 2015, initially focussing on providing high quality enhanced and critical care to events. Having delivered a range of event medicine, ECS then diversified into both ambulance operations and an expanding education portfolio.
ECS now provides care to some of the largest events nationally, and holds one of the first 5 year NHS Frontline contracts as the Hampshire regional provider for South Central Ambulance Service, delivering 999 cover across the county. In addition, we undertake a number of patient transfer and high dependency contracts, providing Paramedic led care to patients in Hampshire, Dorset, and beyond. Our education offering grows daily and we hold centre accreditations with Resuscitation Council (UK), NAEMT, Difficult Airway Site, Qualsafe and ALSG to name a few.
Where is ECS based?
We are based in Southampton with our fantastic HQ and Education Centre, designed with our people in mind!
What is ECS like?
Well, we know we are biased, but it is a place where everyone is welcome and where there is an absolute focus on high quality patient care, led by people who deliver clinical care day in day out. To deliver excellent care, we recognise the need to ensure our people feel supported and are given plenty of opportunities to provide feedback which translates into the ongoing development of the company. Our clinicians have guided the development of our ambulance designs and our brand new HQ, and attend monthly forums to propose change and feedback.
But don’t just hear it from us, why don’t you take a look at our new HQ, the facilities we have built with our people at its heart and what everyone said about it!
