Ann Bedford joins the ECS Event Team!
ECS welcomes Ann Bedford to our Event Operations leadership and planning team as we continue to grow our large scale event delivery across London and the South.
As one of the most experienced event medical people out there, ECS are thrilled to be welcoming Ann to our team. Having started out fundraising within the Royal British Legion and Poppy Appeal, including being part of the team raising £1m in 12 hours in 2012 as part of the London Poppy Day, Ann now holds over 15 years of experience in Event Operations at both a strategic and tactical level.
Within her role as Head of Event Operations for St John Ambulance, Ann held medical planning responsibility for some of the largest and most notable events in the UK and indeed the world, including the London Marathon, London New Years, London Pride, National Service of Remembrance and importantly Operation London Bridge and the King’s Coronation.
Outside of work, Ann is a proud member of the The First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (Princess Royal’s Volunteer Corps), an all-female voluntary organisation which deploys multi-faceted rapid response teams to support civil and military authorities in times of crisis.
Ann will be joining ECS as an Event Consultant, working as part of our Event Operations Leadership and Planning team, supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of our large scale events across the country. You can read more about our event operations here!
