Our Event Medical & First Aid Staff

Our clinicians are our most important asset. The team at Enhanced Care Services offer skills and experience to ensure they provide the very best care to your event. All of our healthcare professionals are current NHS staff or student healthcare professionals and regular exposure to emergency situations. We focus heavily on our recruitment and training processes to ensure we provide the right people to your events.

Our fun, friendly, dedicated and professional teams will immerse themselves into the spirit of your event, whilst providing highly effective and quality care.

What is the difference between medical and first aid staff?

Depending on the requirements of your event following our risk assessments, we will either provide you a team of First Aiders, or a service lead by a Registered Healthcare Professional that could include Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics and First Aiders.

Our First Aid teams are able to provide treatment to a wide variety of of minor injuries, as well as initial life-saving treatment (basic life support) should a medical emergency occur.

Our registered medical staff have the skills and equipment to provide advanced treatment and deal with both major and minor injuries, respond to medical emergencies and provide crucial treatment to the most serious of illnesses that may occur at your event.

All medical staff will hold the relevant registrations necessary for their role.

How is event medical staffing planned?

There are several situations which we plan and prepare for at events. From drug and alcohol related illnesses, to cardiac arrests, collapses, minor trips and serious trauma: by providing the right balance of specialist clinicians, an experienced team and robust governance, we are able to swiftly and effectively prevent someone becoming more unwell, or deal with any situation as it occurs.

Using guidance and risk assessments created specifically for medical cover, such as the purple guide, as well as our own experience of events, we will assess your event and tailor a team of clinicians to meet the needs of your event.

Delivering medical cover for large scale and high risk event, or first aid care to exhibitions, shows and fairs, we will work with you to provide you the right team and cover you need.
